Vinted Members Voice Anger Over Size Updates
Vinted users have been reacting angrily due to a modification that led to listings displaying inaccurate size information.
The second-hand shopping app has altered its sizing categories for women's and children's garments but did not contact all shoppers about the modification.

Many shoppers and sellers are expressing on platforms stating that platform listings now display a different size category than originally posted because of the remapping.
Vinted explained the updated approach better aligns with other platforms.
It has advised users to check their listings and manually change the size when needed, which has left users frustrated.
Size Classification Changes
Previously, the measurements included a single numeric size and a letter, for instance S/8 or M/10.
The new system has an alphabetical indicator and numerical range for example S/UK 8-10.
For certain items, the measurements have been reclassified - such as a large size was formerly size 12 but is now a UK 16-18.
User Experiences
A fashion influencer, who produces content about larger sizing, said the change "makes both selling and buying harder".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," as the platform currently indicates.
Another user, located in Scotland, said garments she listed on Vinted with size 14 labels were appearing on the platform as measurements 20-22.
"If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they're going to be very disappointed," she stated.
Required Changes
Another shopper, based in Derby, stated she felt frustrated due to the update requiring manual adjustment the measurements for "each individual item".
"Personally, this is quite irritating, since I have chronic health issues and platform income has been essential following partial earnings loss," she explained.
Marketplace Information
The platform boasts over 100 million shoppers, with 18 million British users.
It has become a favored option to second-hand platforms like eBay and Depop.
This is not the initial instance that an unexpected update on the platform has faced criticism: last year, Vinted reversed a change regarding delivery choices following member complaints.
